About Virginia

Virginia has an extensive career in management, working mainly in the creative sector. Inspired by the amazing people she met, the struggles they encountered, their desire to shift how they showed up in their life, witnessing the power of change and growth, her passion for personal development and recognizing her ability to instinctively know how to support them, all fed into her decision to train as a coach. 

She’s lived in Tower Hamlets and Hackney for over 35 years. 

Why Life Coaching?

There are many aspects of your life that might bring you to Life and Mindset coaching. Maybe you feel a disconnect between where you are and where you want to be; feel overwhelmed by particular situations or by everything; perhaps you’d like to improve your confidence, self-esteem or life balance. Does anxiety and lack of self-acceptance hold you back or is it simply that there’s a feeling that your life could be more fulfilling? Maybe you don’t know what it is but you know there’s something you need to find.

Life Coaching supports you to explore how you’d like to show up in your life, what success looks like for you and what needs to shift to get you there. A coach’s role is to listen, observe and to ask questions encouraging you to dig deeper and unlock what you desire and the beliefs and behaviours that hold you back, With the support of your coach you’ll also establish a manageable path of practical actions, along with personal accountability, that takes you step by step to your goal.

Life Coaching can also be useful if you’d like to unpick and find more manageable ways to achieve practical goals around well-being and physical health. 

How does Life Coaching Work?

Life Coaching, whilst a talking therapy is not psychotherapy or counselling. There are similarities but the main difference is that coaching is goal specific and future focused. In coaching you may be invited to share your past experiences and these are explored to establish how they shape and serve your life now and how you might shift learned beliefs and behaviours to serve you better for the future.

The other main difference is that coaching is offered for a set amount of time/sessions. These are usually a maximum of 8 sessions for a period of 6 months.
