About Cerys

Cerys's journey into Osteopathy was fuelled by a deep-seated desire to assist others, a commitment to positively influencing her local communities, and a keen interest in health and the study of human physiology.

She earned her Master's degree in Osteopathy (M.Ost) from The University College of Osteopathy. In her practice, Cerys primarily adopts a structural approach, complemented by advice on lifestyle and exercise. Her approach is marked by empathy and compassion, and she is dedicated to offering care that is inclusive and respectful of all.

In addition to her role in private practice, Cerys has contributed her skills to a charity clinic aiding individuals with chronic pain. This experience has enriched her understanding of the role stress and psychosocial factors play in individual health and wellness, highlighting the need for a holistic approach.

Cerys's expertise extends to treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal issues, injuries, and chronic pain. She has also gained valuable experience in clinics focusing on women's health, care for patients with HIV, and support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her training has been focused on delivering inclusive care with a deep understanding of diverse health issues.

While pursuing her studies, Cerys successfully ran a business specializing in sports and remedial massage, where she refined her skills in manual therapy and developed personalized treatment plans. Her interest in healthcare is complemented by her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology, underscoring her lifelong interest in human biology and behaviour.
